Charity Gerald is a Florence, SC native and graduate of South Florence High School. She is a Registered Nurse with 25 years of healthcare experience and a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina. Charity has worked with McLeod Health for 17 years. Prior to becoming a member of the McLeod Health Human Resources team, she worked as a Director of Nursing in the ICU, Progressive Care, and Medical units. She is a Palmetto Gold Award recipient and has also earned the prestigious McLeod Health Merit Award. Charity is currently the Vice President of the South Carolina Healthcare Human Resources Association and a member of several community and state boards including South Carolina Hospital Association’s Imagine WHY, Partnership Grand Strand, and the Pee Dee Workforce Development boards. Charity has a Master’s in Business Administration/Healthcare Administration. Charity’s hobbies include spending time with her family, drawing, painting, singing, and traveling.

Joshua Craig is a native of Sumter, SC, and a graduate of Crestwood High School. He has worked in public service for the majority of his adult life. As a Registered Nurse, Joshua specialized in critical and emergency care. Prior to joining Poynor Healthcare Innovation, he worked in Interventional Radiology with McLeod Health. Joshua is a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College and the University of South Carolina. He enjoys spending time with his family, taking trips to new places, and movie marathons.

Letitia Plowden is a dedicated educator and Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience helping students achieve academic, personal, and career success. Before joining the Poynor School of Healthcare Innovation, she served as a Professional School Counselor at Wilson High School for 20 years, including 17 years as the Lead School Counselor.

Throughout her career, Letitia has been committed to empowering students to reach their full potential by providing academic guidance, career exploration, college and postsecondary planning, and social-emotional support. She has collaborated closely with students, families, educators, and community partners to create opportunities that prepare students for success in school and beyond. 

Letitia earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston, an M. Ed in School Counseling from South Carolina State University, and her M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Argosy University. She is a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and the Palmetto State School Counselor Association (PSSCA). 

Letitia's hobbies include spending time with family, traveling, and listening to podcasts.
